Before the first session, we will discuss what is going well and what areas you would like to improve and focus on. Following this, I will prepare the session based on your needs. It will be relaxed, yet structured. It the an opportunity for us both to see, if we can work together. Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Microsoft Teams- over the years I have tried many platforms and find this is reliable for students. Most learners, have a MS Teams account through school. If you do not have MS Teams, I can support you with this.

Every school is different and so often the exam boards can vary. The most popular boards used within the area are AQA, Wjec and Pearson. If there is another you require assistance with, please let me know.

Payment is requested in advance and can be paid in 4 week blocks or for a half term. Payments are requested through online banking and an invoice will be sent directly to you.

After every session, I send feedback via WhatsApp, which usually will give you a clear picture of what the learner has been doing and how they’re progressing. I can also contact the students class teacher (with permission) and collaborate with them to support the progression.

Home Education is a lifestyle choice many families choose as it allows freedom and a flexible schedule to a custom curriculum. I work with parents and families to support their goals. Whereas with 1:1 tutoring is usually more tailed to teaching a specific syllabus and preparing for exams. For example, GCSE Business Studies.
